A tribute to the kinetic beauties of Alexander Calder, space captured in the eyes of light.

Caldero

Description

The modern version of the classic chandelier draws its inspiration from the abstract kinetic sculptures of renowned American sculptor Alexander Calder. The Caldero suspension luminaire creates the impression of movement in space, with both light sources seemingly floating like planets in intimate orbit. The internal dynamics of their relationship are illustrated in the contrasting materials of the lampshades, with the simple shapes and varying hinge lengths adding to the exciting tension. It all contributes to the appearance of a lighting sculpture drifting in the air.
